Where I grew up there were tons of gators, too . . . but thankfully they weren't in my kitchen.
The best thing ever was when I was about 7 and my dad "bet me" that this "log" across the lake was, in fact, a log and not a gator. I told him it was a gator. So how did he find out? He threw a stick at it and by a miracle, actually HIT it on the head. By the way, this is a hit that cannot ever be duplicated, I'm sure. It wasn't happy, and it leaped into the water and swam rapidly in our direction. After my dad screamed "RUN!!!" and we leaped in the car to drive away quickly, we all changed our underwear.
OMG! That's crazy!! That lady seemed remarkably calm under the circumstances.
Oh my gash, did you say .7 or like 7 whatever it is that is freeky! I Good thing there weren't kids in there,I can ee Ethan going " Doggie!" and running up to pet it....ahhhh
No kidding. Why do you live there? It adds adventure to your day thats why.
I had heard of this! This is crazy! I didn't realize it was so close to you! Yikes! I really freak about spiders, but I think I would take a spider over and alligator.
Holy Mother Load! That is INSANE. I can't believe I am going to say this but I think I would take our snow and harsh winter over THAT!! I cannot believe it. I just kept thinking while I was watching it, "please tell me that thing didn't eat her cat!" SCARY!!!!!!!!!!!!

When I saw this on the news I totally thought of you!!! My first thought was "I wonder if it is Valerie?" But when they told us it was a sixty year old woman I figured probably not. :)
Exactly how badly did she crap her pants?!! Cuz that is what I would have done. :P

b/c florida is amazing and the best people live here!!! there aren't so many gators in tally ya know....
